Tillman Robotics Club

We're excited for Year 2 of Tillman's new Robotics Club, under the guidance of Mr. Mosley and Ms. Rivers.  The Robotics Club meets after school each Wednesday, starting September 11 and continuing through March 12. 

5th Grade Robotics/Competition Focus - This club meets on Wednesdays in September
through December. This club is for fifth grade students only, many of whom were in robotics
last year, and we will run this club with a focus on creating robots and robotics notebooks at a
level to compete locally.  Some students in this 5th grade club will continue into the new year to prepare for team competitions.

4th Grade Robotics/Intro To Robotics - This club will meet on Wednesdays, January through
March. Students will learn the Vex IQ robotics system, coding and how to create a robotics
notebook. The first meeting for Club 2 is January 8th and the last meeting is March 12th.

Robotics Club uses VEX IQ building systems to create our robots, consistent with KSD's new robotics clubs in all K-12 schools. To see an example of a VEX IQ competition go to: www.youtube.com/watch?v=100tfTCiVmc.
